What makes the EWGA unique and different from a local golf league?
The EWGA is a non-profit organization that exists to provide opportunities for women to learn, play and enjoy the game of golf for business and life. Some of the benefits that EWGA offers include:

  • A plethora of tangible member benefits such as bag tags, discounts, magazines, and more.
  • Access to premier golf education programs, free handicap, new golfer mentoring and more to help golfers of all skill levels get the most from their games.
  • Association-wide activities such as the EWGA Championship to learn or develop your competitive game, EWGA leadership gatherings and the EWGA Conference, to name a few.
  • Opportunities for personal and professional development whether it's gaining confidence with your game, learning the nuances of business golf, networking, or developing skills via volunteering for your Chapter, Section or Association.
  • Making a difference in women’s lives. When the EWGA started, women were not fully welcomed on the course. But the EWGA has gained the respect and admiration of the major golf associations and we are proud of the difference we have made in women’s golf.
  • Fun and friendship. Sure you can get this at a local golf league but if times are tough, the EWGA is a ready made coast to coast support system. Again – the stories are endless. And women who attend the EWGA Championship and/or EWGA Conference have friends for life from around the country – broadening and enhancing their lives.

Do I need to be an 'executive' to join EWGA?
No. While EWGA is geared toward career-minded women golfers, being an 'executive' is certainly not a requirement for membership. While most of our members have professional careers of various sorts, others are retired or are homemakers.
